Durmitor is Montenegro's premier mountain hiking area — 48 peaks over 2,000 m, 18 glacial lakes, and Bobotov Kuk (2,523 m), the highest summit accessible without technical climbing.

Black Lake — no. Bobotov Kuk and multi-day traverses (Prutaš, Bandijerna, Škrka lakes) — strongly recommended, weather changes fast and marking is basic. A licensed guide is €35–€60 per person in a small group.
