Montenegro's festival season runs from late June to early September and spreads across the coast and the inland lakes. Coastal editions take place in and around Budva, Tivat and the Bay of Kotor; inland ones sit near Nikšić and the mountain lakes, where nights are cooler and crowds smaller. Line-ups are announced in spring and tickets are sold per day or per edition.
The practical problem is rarely the ticket. It is getting back after the last act: buses stop running in the evening, taxis are scarce outside the towns and the mountain roads are unlit. Each package here pairs a return transfer from Kotor, Budva or Tivat with a daytime activity in the same area, so one booking covers the travel and the day before the music starts.
