Mountain town — Biogradska Gora, skiing & Tara rafting base
Kolašin sits at 950 m between the Bjelasica and Sinjajevina mountains, two hours from the coast and one from Podgorica. It is the gateway to Biogradska Gora National Park and one of Europe's last primeval forests, a ski town in winter with the Kolašin 1600 and 1450 centres, and the closest comfortable base to Tara rafting after Žabljak. The Moraca canyon drive up from Podgorica is one of the best roads in the country.
