Your pilot collects you from your hotel and drives 25 minutes up the winding road behind Budva to the Brajići launch site. Views on the drive alone are worth it.
The pilot straps you into a tandem harness in front. You'll get a 2-minute brief: run 5–10 steps down the grassy ramp, don't stop, don't sit until the pilot says so. That's it. Once the wing catches air you're lifted off your feet like magic.
You glide down the coastline with Sveti Stefan in the distance, the Old Town below, and dolphins occasionally visible in the bay. If thermals are strong you can stay up 40 minutes and even do acrobatics (barrel rolls, wingovers — ask in advance if you want the "extreme" option).
You'll come in low over Bečići beach and land on the sand. Lift your legs on final approach — the pilot does everything else. Total airtime is usually 20 minutes.
May–October is the season. Best conditions: morning (9–11 am) for calm smooth flight, or late afternoon (5–7 pm) for golden light. Midday can be too thermic for a comfortable first flight.
Tandem paragliding has a strong safety record when flown with certified pilots — Budva pilots must hold FAI/IPPI Level 4 tandem rating. Reserve chute is standard. Ask any operator to see their license before you fly.
